Award: Order of the Esprit de Soleil (Principality of Sun)
Principality of the Sun, Kingdom of Atenveldt:
There shall exist in the Principality of the Sun an award, Known as the Order of the Esprit de Soleil, which may be given by the Prince and Princess, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, to those persons whom they feel have exhibited talent, enthusiasm and a willingness to share their knowledge worthy of recognition in the Arts and Sciences.
The holders of the award shall be styled as Companions of the Esprit de Soleil and shall be entitled to place the initials C.E.S. after their names.
The insignia of the order shall consist of a medallion bearing, subject to approval by the SCA College of Arms: A fireball proper charged with a harp Or.
Arms and Precedence. The award shall carry with it, subject to the pleasure of the crown, an Award of Arms, and companions of the order shall take precedence after armigerous kingdom orders but before baronial orders. If the award is given to a person who bears an award carrying higher precedence than given above, his/her precedence shall remain unchanged. If the award is given to a person who has previously received an Award of Arms, his/her precedence shall date from his/her election to the order.
